Automatic mechanical water filters

Automatic mechanical water filters are used to remove colloidal iron, aluminium, iron silicates, and other impurities from the incoming water stream. They are most commonly used when the water contains large amounts of sand, clay, rust, dirt, etc. Water contaminated with mechanical impurities is opaque (not transparent), which is why mechanical water filters are used for primary water treatment. The impurities collected are removed by connection to the wastewater during regeneration. The frequency of regenerations depends on water contamination and your water consumption. Mechanically filtered water is clearer and cleaner. It also extends the life of sanitary equipment and household devices.
