1. About the filter

The ROOS/AMS-CI08E anti-limestone water filter with automatic regeneration (self-cleaning) is designed for the removal of "hard" salts (water softening) from water by ion exchange and small amounts of iron, manganese, amonium. The hardness salts, accumulated in the filter aggregate (cationite), are periodically (the frequency depends on the actual amount of water consumed) removed to the drain during the filter regeneration (self-cleaning). 2. Usage

The ROOS/AMS-CI08E anti-lime water filter works by Single operation mode. It is used to supply a household of 1-4 persons with purified water (2 standard water taps (1.5m³/h) fully open). This water filter is required when high water hardness or increased iron, amonium or manganese ammounts are detected in the water. The filter can be used e.g. in flats, cafes and anywhere else with a monthly water consumption of 4-10m³. The filter is used to protect water heating equipment (boilers), sanitary equipment, household equipment (dishwashers, washing machines, water heating equipment), etc. to improve the quality of the used water.

3. Equipment set-up

3.1 The filter is equipped with the most complete automatic control valve "Clack Corporation", USA, WS1CI or WS1EI that manages filter regenerations (backwashing) based on actual water consumption. The operating principle, structure, adjustment and setting are given in the Instruction Manual.

3.2 The 'base' of the filtration equipment is pressurised housings made of reinforced polyacrylic. The products meet all of the hygiene, safety and technological requirements.

3.3 Filtration media:  cationite “Dowex”, JAV.

3.4 Includes a container for the preparation of the salt solution which size is 75 liters. The container is fully equipped (grill, salt suction, water filling, overflow protection mechanisms and connections).

3.5 The unit includes 25 kg of crushed salt regesal (NaCl.) for the preparation of the regeneration solution. regesal (NaCl.) for the preparation of the regeneration solution.

4. Installation of the filter.

The installation work shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION, SETUP, COMMISSIONING AND WARRANTY SERVICE OF AUTOMATIC FOG FILTERS", which is supplied with the equipment.
