Deironing water filter ROOS/AGO-EI

1. About the filter 

Deironing filter for the house ROOS/AGO-EI is a self-regenerating iron removal filter which serves purpose to remove dissolved and undissolved iron, mechanical impurities and hydrogen sulphide (rotten egg smell) from the water. Bivalent (dissolved) iron is oxidised by oxygen in air tank. The oxidation reaction takes place in a special pressure filter housing (first tank), included in the filter set-up, where the bivalent (dissolved) iron becomes trivalent (undissolved). The water then flows into the filter, where the "Pyrolox" or „Birm” (specific water filter medias) "traps" these impurities and then automatically removes them to the drain (sewer) during regeneration process. 2. Usage

The ROOS/AGO-EI water deironing filter for the house works by single operating mode. This water deironer can be used in apartments, cafes, cottages, private houses and anywhere else where the monthly water consumption is between 2 and 40m³ (see the table at the bottom of the description for details on the suitability of the models). Such a unit can be installed when the water has elevated levels of iron, turbidity, mechanical impurities, or when there is a smell of hydrogen sulphide (rotten egg) or other unpleasant smells. The most appropriate option depends on the size of the inhabitants and their water consumption. The filter is used to protect against corrosion, abrasive wear and possible clogging of pipes. It also protects sanitary equipment, household equipment (dishwashers, washing machines, water heaters) from damage. In a simple words, to prevent rusting, and to improve the quality of the water used and consumed.

3. Equipment set-up

3.1 The system is equipped with a fully automatic control valve WS1EI. Manufacturer „Clack Corporation“, JAV. Veikimo principas, sandara, reguliavimas ir nustatymas pateikti naudojimo Instrukcijoje.

3.2 The 'base' of the filtering equipment is: two filter housings made of polyethylene and covered with glass fibre yarns with epoxy resin. Manufacturer „Clack Corporation“, USA. The product meets hygiene, safety and technological requirements.

3.3 Filter media: silica sand of various textures, densities and sizes, and deironing medias Pyrolox or Birm. Manufacturer „Clack  Corporation“, JAV.

3.4 The air to the tank is supplied by silent and oiless air compressor..

3.5 The compressor operates according to real water consumption, rather than through a timer, which often fails and causes compressor to burn out.

3.6 Air inlet pipe for the compressor, check valve for the oxidation column and sanitary parts for connecting the compressor to the oxidation tank.

4. Installation of the filter.

The installation work shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION, SETUP, COMMISSIONING AND WARRANTY SERVICE OF AUTOMATIC FOG FILTERS", which is supplied with the equipment.
