1. About the filter
The AM-TC automatic mechanical water filter is designed to remove mechanical impurities (sand, fine mechanical particles, rust) and colloidal substances from water. These impurities and substances are "trapped" by the filter media in the filter housing and then automatically removed to the drain (sewer) during regeneration process. For more details on the operation of automatic filters, see here.
2. Usage
The AM-TC automatic mechanical water filter works by single operating mode. Such a device can be installed in cottages or private households where high levels of turbidity or mechanical impurities are detected in the water. The filter is used to protect against abrasive wear and to prevent clogging of pipes, sanitary equipment, household appliances (dishwashers, washing machines, water heating equipment), i.e. to improve the quality of the water used and consumed.
3. Equipment set-up
3.1 The system is equipped with a fully automatic control valve. The operating principle, structure, adjustment and setting are given in the Instruction Manual.
3.2 The 'base' of the filtration equipment is a standart housing made of polyethylene and wrapped with glass fibre yarns. The product meets hygiene, safety and technological requirements.
3.3 Filter media: silica sand of various textures, densities and sizes and filter-ag filler against mechanical impurities..
4. Installation of the filter.
The installation work shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION, SETUP, COMMISSIONING AND WARRANTY SERVICE OF AUTOMATIC FOG FILTERS", which is supplied with the equipment.
