Softening and iron removal water filter

1. The purpose of a water filter.

Softening and iron removal water filter Swan Eco automatically regenerates (self-cleaning) and eliminates excess iron, manganese, ammonium, color (permanganate index), and "hardness" (limestones) from the water. The accumulated impurities in the filter media are removed periodically (the periodicity depends on the actual amounts of water consumed) into the drain (sewer) during the regeneration of the water filter. 2. Usage

Softening and iron removal water filter Swan Eco operates by single operating mode. This water filter is required when high water hardness, elevated levels of iron, manganese, ammonium and/or a visible, unwanted water colour are found in the water. The unit can be used in apartments, cafes, cottages, private homes and anywhere else where the monthly water consumption is between 3-25m³*. The filters are used to protect water heating equipment (boilers), sanitary equipment, household appliances (dishwashers, washing machines, water heating equipment), etc. Also to improve the quality of the used water.

3. Equipment set-up

Softening and iron removal water filter Swan Eco is equipped with the most fully automatic control valve from Clack Corporation, USA, WS1CIwhich performs filter regenerations based on actual water consumption. The operating principle, structure, adjustment and setting are given in the Instruction Manual.

3.2 The 'base' of the filtration equipment is pressurised housings made of reinforced polyacrylic. The products meet all of the hygiene, safety and technological requirements.

3.3 Filter media: a blend of 5 filter medias with universal and unique properties and functions.

3.4. Separate container for salt Clack Corporation, USA, which size is 100 litres. Its purpose is to "prepare" salt brine for regeneration process. The container is fully equipped (salt suction, water filling, overflow protection mechanisms and connections).

3.5 The unit includes 25 kg of crushed salt regesal (NaCl.) for the preparation of the regeneration solution.

4. Installation of the filter.

Softening and iron removal water filter installation work shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION, SETUP, COMMISSIONING AND WARRANTY SERVICE OF AUTOMATIC FOG FILTERS", which is supplied with the equipment.
