1. About the filter
Anti-lime water filter ROOS/AMS-EI that regenerates automatically (self-cleaning) is designed to remove "hardness" from the water through ion exchange, including small amounts of iron. The accumulated substances in the filter media (cationite), water hardness elements are periodically (the frequency depends on the actual volumes of water used) removed into the drainage (sewer) during the regeneration (cleaning) of the filter. Salt is used to restore the purified water amount by regesal NaCl. For more information on the operations of automatically regenerating filters and ion exchange principle, see here.
2. Usage
Anti-lime water filter ROOS/AMS-EI works by single operating mode and is used when the purified water is intended to supply a household of 1-8 persons (2 standard faucets (1.5m³/h) fully opened). These water filters are needed when high water hardness or elevated iron levels are detected in the water. The anti-lime water filter can be used in apartments, cafes and anywhere else where the monthly water consumption is between 4-30m³. The filter is used to protect water heating equipment (boilers, boilers, gas columns), sanitary equipment, household appliances (dishwashers, washing machines, water heating equipment), etc. Also to improve the quality of the water used.
3. Equipment set-up
3.1 The filter is equipped with the most complete automatic control valve "Clack Corporation", USA, WS1EI that manages filter regenerations (backwashing) based on actual water consumption. The operating principle, structure, adjustment and setting are given in the Instruction Manual.
3.2 The 'base' of the filtration equipment is pressurised housings made of reinforced polyacrylic. The products meet all of the hygiene, safety and technological requirements.
3.3 Filtration media: cationite “Dowex”, JAV.
3.4 Includes a container for the preparation of the salt solution which size is 75 or 100 liters. The container is fully equipped (grill, salt suction, water filling, overflow protection mechanisms and connections).
3.5 The unit includes 25 kg of crushed salt regesal (NaCl.) for the preparation of the regeneration solution.
4. Installation of the filter.
The installation work shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION, SETUP, COMMISSIONING AND WARRANTY SERVICE OF AUTOMATIC FOG FILTERS", which is supplied with the equipment.
